Your headlists, entries, and any handwritten images you upload are yours. We never read, share, sell, or analyze the words, phrases, or images you write — they're stored only so the app can show them back to you and run the Goldlist schedule (D1–D4, review dates, and so on).
We use a small number of strictly functional cookies: one to keep you signed in, one to remember your language preference, and a short-lived one during Google sign-in itself. None of these are used to track you across other websites or build an advertising profile.
We also use your browser's local storage for three small preferences that never leave your device: your last-used pen color, which tips you've dismissed, and which "ready to review" indicators you've already seen. None of this is sent to our servers or tied to your account.
We use Google Analytics to see anonymous, aggregate usage — things like how many headlists get created or reviews completed — so we can tell whether changes to the app are actually helping. This isn't linked to your name, email, or account, isn't sold, and isn't used for advertising.
Signing in uses Google OAuth. We only ever receive and store what Google provides for your account — your email, name, and profile picture — used solely to identify you within the app.
There are no ads on Goldlist Notebook, and we don't sell or share your data with third parties. See the About page for more on why this exists.
